Gill & Ian, Traquair House, Peeblesshire

It takes a brave couple to opt for an outdoor wedding in Scotland, but the gamble paid off for Gill & Ian. Cupid's Garden at Traquair House was the romantic setting for their wedding, on what proved to be one of the few dry days of the month.
After a beautiful service, the guests had the opportunity to explore the grounds - complete with gardens, a maze and even a brewery!
Gill & Ian, it was a pleasure to shoot your wedding and we hope you are enjoying your honeymoon in the sun! We look forward to showing you your photographs when you get home.

Claire & George, Melville Castle, Edinburgh

Set in an idyllic country estate, Melville Castle was the perfect venue for Claire & George to be married in front of family and friends.
Claire looked beautiful and couldn't stop smiling throughout the ceremony. She and George were a great couple to work with, they both have an incredible sense of humour and it was a pleasure to capture their happiness on their big day.
After a wonderful meal, complete with a hilarious speech from the best man, the guests danced the night away in the marquee. A perfect ending to a fantastic day.

Cara & Nye, Fingask Castle, Perthshire

Today we had the pleasure of photographing Cara & Nye's wedding at Fingask Castle in Perthshire. With amazing views, beautiful grounds and a quirky interior, Fingask was the perfect setting for what turned out to be a truly magical day.
As wedding photographers, Cara & Nye knew exactly how they wanted their day to be, and put a great deal of time, effort and soul into creating the perfect day for their loved ones.
Cara looked striking and drew gasps of approval from the guests when they turned and saw her at the end of the aisle. Throughout the beautiful ceremony, filled with readings and song from friends and family, she and Nye could hardly keep their eyes from one another.
After drinks in the gardens, the barbecues were cranked up and Cara & Nye's friends and family helped create a wonderful meal. The guests dined as the sound of blues music floated over the hills, before returning to the castle to continue the celebrations with some very special cupcakes and homemade champagne.
Cara & Nye, thank you for inviting us to play a part in what was a truly wonderful day. We think you are a beautiful and talented couple and wish you all the happiness in the world.

Krista & Ed, St Patrick's & Melville Castle, Edinburgh

We're just back from a fantastic day shooting Krista and Ed's wedding. This stunning bride wed her gorgeous groom at St Patrick's in Edinburgh's Cowgate. The day was made extra special by the number of friends and family who had travelled from overseas and from all over the UK to join them in their celebrations.
The sun was shining as the bridal party made their way to St Margaret's Loch for photos in their stretch Hummer and Bentley bridal car. And the swans were quick to say hello as the group posed for photos at the water's edge.
Then it was on to Melville Castle where an excellent meal and a great party awaited the guests. The ceilidh was in full swing as we packed up our camera bags - we're sure everyone is in for a night to remember.
Congratulations Krista and Ed. We'd like to join your friends and family in wishing you all the love, laughter and happiness in the world!

Jess looked absolutely beautiful and it was an emotional moment when she locked eyes with her gorgeous groom, waiting for her at the end of the aisle. The bridesmaids looked great in their black and hot pink outfits and the well turned out best men completed the look.
After a touching ceremony, the happy couple were whisked off to Pollock Halls to party the rest of the night away with family and friends. We wish them every happiness in their new life together.
