Why we love being wedding photographers - No. 3

We received this lovely email from Victoria, who married Robert at St Mary's RC Cathedral on March 28th. Victoria and Robert live in Boston, USA and are now settling into married life after their honeymoon in the Maldives.

Hi Christina & Jay,

Thank you so much for sending all of our photos, we received the disc today, and are just sitting marvelling at them! We simply cannot say thank you enough for doing such a stunning job. We have been so impressed by everything you've done from start to finish. What an amazing team! So many of our friends and family have asked about you, we felt as if you really were part of our wedding. Anyway, I'm tearing up now, so will sign off.

Jay and I feel so lucky to have a vocation we love and to get to share in such a special, joyful day. It really is a great privilege and we consider ourselves very fortunate to meet and work with such wonderful people as Victoria and Robert.

We love being wedding photographers - No. 2

We never ever get tired of hearing comments from our couples after they see their wedding photos for the first time. It's this kind of feedback that makes us truly appreciate how lucky we are to work in this profession.

Today we received this lovely comment from one of our November brides who had previously written to thank us and tell us how much she loved her wedding photos:

"Every parent sees their children as the most beautiful ones in the world - however, you have managed to capture images of my children as I see them & they are the most breathtaking shots I have ever seen. You have captured the fragile innocence of my youngest and the promise of the man emerging in my eldest. Their beauty brought me to tears, and I can never have the words to thank you for this very precious gift of capturing this moment in time of my children."

We love being wedding photographers - No. 1

Our wedding photographs mean so much to us, and we feel so fortunate to work in a profession that allows us to share in such a happy occasion and create images that will be treasured for many years to come.

Every time we shoot a wedding it reminds of us of our own wedding day and how we felt as we exchanged our vows and celebrated with those closest to us.

It's always fantastic to get feedback from our couples after they see their wedding photographs for the first time.

We have received a lovely email from Raffaella & Tim whose wedding we photographed this month, and thought we'd share some of it with you:

"We are not sure how to begin to write this e-mail as you have moved us in so many ways with your incredible photographs.

"We were so impressed by your general air of professionalism, but more so by your endearing calmness and sensitivity. We were amazed how you managed to set everyone at ease and then you just blended in with the occasion and for the majority of the celebrations we were barely aware of your presence...

"We now find ourselves consumed with excitement and overflowing with emotion as we frequently peruse the proofing section of your website. We gaze with such delight at the wonderfully artistic array of photographs which manage to capture the fun, ceremony and joy of the day as it unfolded.

WOW - We are officially blushing, but it is so amazing to receive this kind of feedback from people who have been kind enough to let us share in their special day.
